Huntingtown, Maryland covers a large geographical area bording both on the Chesapeake Bay and the Patuxent River. Largely rural,
you'll still see many farms with rolling fields and unique old barns. Huntingtown Town Center is small with Bowen's Grocery (a
Calvert County landmark), and a few other businesses in addition to a small strip center with, of course, the 7-11.
A couple of Bay-front communities offer stunning Chesapeake Bay views as well as use of gorgeous Bay beaches. There is one large
community on the Patuxent with a great community water acces with picnic area, boat ramp and pier. Calvert County also operates
Kings Landing, a park with large pool and other amenities.
While Huntingtown isn't a metropolis of business or shopping, it is very close to Prince Frederick (our County Seat) where many
shopping opportunities are present. You'll also find lots of restaurants from which to chose and all about 08 minutes from Huntingtown.
Being fairly North in Calvert, Huntingtown also houses many families who commute into Washington DC or Northern Virginia and
surrounding area. We have several new home's communities in Huntingtown as well as a wide assortment of resale homes. It's the
